Zum Berger, October 2008 in Vienna, Austria

This is one of my favorite Heurigen in Grinzing, Vienna. Friendly service, traditional kitchen with good Schnitzel, they use “biodynamic” method to produce wine.

Felsenheuriger, September 2007 in Hinterbrühl, Austria.

The vineyard of Family Freudorfer located in the famous wine region of Austria – Gumpoldskirchen. Several times during the year when their Heuriger in Hinterbrühl is “ausgesteckt” (with pine needles hanging outside the door, meaning it’s open), one can taste more than ten different wines of their own and enjoy the awarded “best Topfenstrudel of Lower Austria”.
