Macha Latte

Cha No Ma, April 2008 in Vienna, Austria
Cha No Ma (茶の間) is a Japanese tea house in Vienna where one gets genuine hand prepared Macha and other Japanese desserts. Apart from the food, the shop is also decorated just as if it were in Japan.
This Macha Latte is made with powered green tea and soy milk.

Blunz’n-Gröstl and Glühwein

Biomarkt, December 2006 in Vienna, Austria
Blunz’n-Gröstl is an Austrian snack meaning “fried blood sausage.” It’s usually fried with potato, onion, and bacon and served with Sauerkraut (fermented shredded cabbage, served warm).
Glühwein is heated red wine with spices, which (or Punsch) can be found around every corner in winter.
The Biomarkt (organic market) on the historical square “Freyung” in Vienna has the best Blunz’n-Gröstl I’ve ever had in Austria and of course, every ingredient is organic.
